Ive disconnected myself from the computer and internet a lot lately (3 weeks-ish?) and that makes me really happy. Ive taken up reading again (A Casual Vacancy at the moment), and things are going well. I am happy. My trip was wonderful. I am seeing J at 9. I hope everyone had a good day/night. Good night world.

J and I are leaving for our road trip later today. Im so excited I cant even explain it to you.

J and I had breakfast with H at shul Sunday and as we were leaving, H went in to give me a hug and J hugged us both. H was laughing about a family hug and his voice was vibrating in my ear and I was all giggly because it was so cute, and then H said something you can never erase: “So I know you guys are leaving for your road trip Friday. I want you to remember…,” this is the part where I thought he would say I love you, mind you,” birth control. Birth control, birth control, birth control.”

J and I later went to CVS to pick up a few things for our trip: I needed a razor and he needed some nasal mist. I suggested to J we send H a picture of boxes of condoms. I was disappointed when he never replied.

Thanks! My dad told me I looked “stunning” yesterday, which really took me back. Ive really enjoyed playing around with my makeup the past few months. Im loving the balm’s Balm Jovi palette, its real fun to play with. And on my lips lately Ive been combining this coral lipstick from Rimmel with the bright pink lip stain from Revlon.

Now that I think about it, I really hope youre not talking about my vagina…

It depends on what you mean, really. What are you struggling with?

Basic tips for a basic conversation:

smile and “Hello/ hi/ hey”
solid handshake/ hug (if needed)
be polite- shit talking and being rude is for when you get home
be a good listener
be understanding (ex. if someone wishes you a good Christmas and it isnt your holiday, thank them and wish them a good one as well- recognize good intentions instead of getting in a huff about political correctness)
think before you speak
breathe, especially if youre nervous
